FN Firearms USA, is a U.S. subsidiary of FN Herstal, S.A., a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-quality, reliable firearms for military, law enforcement, and commercial customers worldwide.  Headquartered in McLean, VA, with manufacturing operations in Columbia, SC, FN Firearms USA is passionately committed to providing its customers with a portfolio of products, training, and support services under the FN brand name that enhance their performance and safeguard their lives.

All FN handguns, with the exception of the FN FiveseveN®, are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the art production facility in Columbia, SC. FN Firearms USA also currently produces the FN 15® series of modern sporting rifles for U.S. consumers and law enforcement, as well as the M4/M4A1 carbines, M16 rifles, MK46, MK48, and M240 machine guns, and the MK19 grenade launcher for the U.S. military.

Fabrique Nationale Herstal (French for ‘National Factory Herstal’), trading as FN Herstal and often referred to as Fabrique Nationale or simply FN, is a leading firearms manufacturer based in Herstal, Belgium. It is currently the largest exporter of military small arms in Europe.

FN Herstal is owned by the Herstal Group holding company, which is in turn owned by the regional government of Wallonia. The Herstal Group also owns the Browning Arms Company and the U.S. Repeating Arms Company (Winchester).

FN Firearms USA is the U.S. subsidiary of FN Herstal, which was formed by the merger of FN’s previous two American subsidiaries – FN Manufacturing and FNH USA. A United Kingdom based manufacturing facility, FNH UK, is also in operation.
